Gay Clubs and Parties in Barcelona

Gay clubs in Barcelona usually don't get busy within the first 2-3 hours of their regular opening hours, then they are often crowded and packed till closing.
Note for budget travellers: Entrance fees often include 1 drink of your choice. To save money you could use the voucher for the more expensive drink you plan to have during the night. Also, flyers or passes can save you about 3 € and can be found in gay bars, cafes and shops.
Unfortunately, gay clubs in Barcelona are also notorious for the thieves who operate in the clubs and have already caused a lot of trouble for many travellers. Often they just observe where people put their wallet after paying at the bars and then they steal it from there later on the crowded dancefloor. Better don't take credit cards, too much money and unnecessary identity cards to the clubs!
