Tip for budget travellers: Some of the restaurants in Barcelona offer a menu of the day for lunch and/or a menu of the night for dinner. These menus usually include 3 courses (starter, main dish, dessert) and sometimes a drink or coffee. Although you have limited choice (typically 3 different dishes for each course) these menus are an inexpensive option for having a proper meal, especially the menu of the day (approx. 10–12 €).
