52nd International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film:
This festival ›is not only the biggest festival in Germany for documentary film but also one of the most important ones on international level. Founded in 1955 as the first independent film festival in East Germany called the "1st All-German Leipzig Festival of Cultural and Documentary Films", the festival plays a major role in connecting Western and Eastern Europe and offers a place of exchange for film makers, producers, journalists, distributers and audiences from all over Europe.‹
