Gay Bars in Lisbon

Most bars are located in the Bairro Alto district where it is pleasantly difficult to say which bar is gay or gay-friendly or ›hetero-friendly‹ or whatever. Best time here is between 23:00 and 02:00 (when most of the bars close). The bars in the Principe Real area tend to be more late-night and more exclusively gay.

Official opening hours shouldn't be taken too official. On quiet days some bars might close earlier or the whole day without any further notice.
