• 10th Gay & Lesbian Lake Zurich Crossing: for passionate lake swimmers and lovers of long distance swimming but also for swimmers who simply enjoy swimming in open waters. The distance is 1800 meters and the time limit is 1 hour.
  Start is at 10:00 at the lido ›Badi Tiefenbrunnen‹ (Bellerivestrasse 200)

Summer beaches in Zurich

Zurich has several beaches along Lake Zurich and the Limmat river. Most popular with gays is the lido ›Badi Tiefenbrunnen‹ with its large gay area in front of the changing cubicle next to the restaurant. The beach is idyllically situated at Lake Zurich, entrance Bellerivestrasse 200.
(Tram 2 and 4 and Bus 33, 912, 916: Fröhlichstrasse (300m), S train S7: Zürich Tiefenbrunnen (400m). Open 09:00 – 19:00/20:00, entrance approx. 6 CHF.)

If you like your bum sun-tanned you can also go to the Werdinsel, a small island on the Limmat river (Tram 4 and Bus 80, 89 and 323: Tüffenwies). After the guarded beach you will find the nude beach which is also a gay area.
(No cruising – the bushes are regularly checked by the police.)
