Beaches in and around Nice

Along the famous Promenade des Anglais, there is the miles long city beach of Nice. A pebble beach, fragmented into various private or paid beach sections (run mostly by hotels, restaurants and beach clubs) and in between a few free public beaches.
A gay-friendly beach section is the paid Castel Plage, with beach service (sunbeds and shade umbrellas, approx. 20 € per person and day) and a beach restaurant.

From Nice, take a car or bus LR100 (starting in Nice at bus stop Le Port), enjoy your trip with great views of the Côte d'Azur and get off the bus at 'Parking Saint-Laurent d'Eze'. Continue on the street for about 2 minutes, then turn right and walk down the path to the beach.
